This warranty applies to all computers sold by Nova Computers and is subject to change without notice.

Warranty Information on all Nova Computer Systems...
Nova Custom Computer Systems come with a standard 90day warranty against defects in workmanship and parts. If any part of your Nova Computer System fails within this period due to manufacture defect, Nova will replace that part with no labor charge to the customer. Replacement of the defective part is subject to the manufacturers warranty. After 90days the individual manufacturers warranties will apply. After 90days Nova will assist you with the warranty work for a service fee of $35.00 if computer is brought to our office, or $50.00 for on site retrieval or repair for up to 1 year from date of purchase. Nova Computers DOES NOT warranty the system if failure occurs due to lighting damage, voltage line spikes, telephone line spikes, or other damage inflicted intentionally or otherwise by customer, or by failure of the customer to take basic precautions.
All documentation for all system components are included in the customers package, including warranty cards, instruction booklets, and care and use of the system and its components. These papers as well as the boxes for the items should be saved for at least 90 days should anything have to be returned to the manufacturer for replacement, return or exchange. If the box and instructions/disks are not with the item it can NOT be returned.
In compliance with Microsoft's software licensing, your computer has a number attached to the upper right side of the case body. This number MUST NOT be removed from the system. If this number is removed this warranty will be void. Customer will need this number (software key) should anything go wrong with the operating system. Nova DOES NOT keep records of these keys. Nova will be unable to help you with your system if this number is damaged, removed, or lost.
Assistance with Operation:
Nova will assist you with the use of your system, including the basic uses of the Operating System which was supplied with your computer free for a period of 90days from the date of purchase. This includes telephone consultations. After 90days telephone consultation charges may apply.
Custom Case Lighting Kits:
Custom Case Lighting Kits covered for a period of 30days ONLY! Should any lighting package fail to function after 30days, the full service charges will apply for replacement + parts. This includes lighted case fans, CPU coolers, and High Output LEDs.
NEON Lighting kits are guaranteed to function only at time of sale. These kits are not covered under any warranty with Nova.
Software:
Nova offers no refunds on software once the packages are opened. (NO EXCEPTIONS) Nova offers no assistance with Software issues other than that of the OS Supplied with its systems or equipment that Nova sells directly to the customer.

IS THE ONLY COPY OF THIS SOFTWARE AVAILABLE FROM NOVA. IF YOU LOOSE THIS
SOFTWARE BUNDLE YOU WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE A NEW OS FOR YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM AT
YOUR EXPENSE. PLEASE DO NOT LOOSE THE OEM DISKS!
Upgrades to non Nova Computers:
All upgrades installed by Nova Computers carry their manufacturers warranty. However, Nova will cover any labor costs should a defect be found for up to 30 days from the purchase of the hardware.
Upgrades to Nova Computers:
All upgrades to Custom systems supplied by Nova carry the manufacturers warranty and a 90 day labor warranty from Nova. Read the documentation supplied with your system for details on the manufacturers warranty.
Custom Cooling Systems:
Some Nova computers come with custom cooling systems. The installation of which can void manufacturers warranties on said products. Be aware that improper upkeep of these components can cause failures which are not covered under warranty. It is up to the customer to keep up with their systems cleaning schedule and make arrangements to have these components checked on a regular basis to keep the system running cool. Damage caused by overheating components which is a direct result of not keeping liquid in the system is not covered under this warranty.
LIQUID COOLED SYSTEMS and LIQUID COOLERS...
NO WARRANTY IS OFFERED ON ANY LIQUID COOLERS, and the installation of a liquid cooler will void the warranty for the CPU of the comptuer.
*LAPTOPS NOTEBOOK AND HANDHELD PCS
Laptops are not customized in any way by Nova Computers. They are offered for sale as a convenience to our customers.
New Laptops Notebooks and hand held pcs hold only the manufacturers warranty. It is up to the customer to return the unit to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
Nova Computers will accept the return of any laptop for defect reasons within the 1st 15 days of purchase. After which unit must be returned by the purchaser to the manufacturer for adjustment.
Refurbished Laptops are sold AS IS unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
USED COMPUTER SYSTEMS
Used computers are sold as is. No warranties are offered for used systems.
SHIPPING EXPENSES
Shipping Expenses are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
WARRANTY EXTENSION - NEW November 2006
Customer may extend their warranty if they purchased their machine after August 15th 2006. Warranty extension duration and cost is dependant on availablity for the model in question. Warranty must be purchased prior to the termination of the standard 90 day warranty period. Extended warranty must be paid in full at time of purchase and will go into effect the day after the termination of the initial 90 day warranty period. Extended warranty covers the same items listed in the standard warranty. Extended warranty does not cover theft, damage due to neglect or intentional damage caused by customer or normal wear and use of system components.
You may extend your warranty at any time after purchase an before your origonal 90day warranty expires.

PAYMENT OF INVOICE - AND WARRANTY TERMINATION...
Nova computers reserves the right to terminate all warranties on a computer or computers if a customer has taken delivery of a system or systems and fails to pay the full balance of their invoice within 15 days of delivery. Termination of the warranty can be done without prior notice to the customer, this warranty can not be reinstated. All future work on said systems can be performed only after the complete balance of the pending invoice is paid in full. EXTENDED WARRANTY RESTRICTIONS and LIMITATIONS
Extended warranty will cover the labor costs on all repairs
for the duration of the warranty. This does NOT include Virus removal, Spyware
removal, or any other kind of software problem.
Extended warranty will cover the replacement of defective
hardware with the exception of the CPU which carries its own warranty via the
CPU manufacturer. CPU refers to the actual CPU chip on the motherboard and
should not be confused with the Tower itself.
Extended warranty will not cover damages caused by not
using a proper surge suppression unit or the failure of a surge protector to
operate correctly.
Extended warranty will not cover any loss of data
whatsoever. It is the customers responsibility to make appropriate backups of
important data.
Telephone Consultations as well as software support is not available from Nova Computers. We are a hardware company only. Software support is only supplied for the Windows OS ONLY! If you need software support we will provide it to the best of our ability, but only at a standard service rate.
AFTER HOURS SERVICE and WARRANTY
After hours service is NOT included in any warranty agreement. Any service calls, including those which fall within a warranty period, which occur before or after normal business hours, (10am - 5pm Monday - Friday), will be charged an after hours service fee.
No other warranty is expressed or implied.
